To quote a good movie, that was a better book, but the quote isn’t in the book,
It’s not what you are like, it’s what you do like.
So here is a list of things that I like and some that I don’t. Not things that everyone doesn’t like, or shouldn’t like, such as racism or pleated pants, but things some people might feel the other way on.
I like:
my wife, my kids, my dogs 85% of the time, cooking, cycling, the economy of words, ideas that kind of frighten me, people smarter than me (please see the first thing on this list), dungeon and dragons, enthusiasm, road trips, fast things except for one thing* (see below), many Rutger Hauer movies, numbers in my designs that are divisible by 6, and a lot of music.










I do not like:
McDonald’s shakes, Tim Burton films (except Big Fish which is amazing), Teslas (their look, not what they stand for), my dogs 15% of the time, people who don’t use their turn signals, *roller coasters, natto, and Belgian beer.
