Laski, she was going places

In the winter of 2022, Alaska Airlines was doing well with its customers but was struggling to reach beyond its existing audience. Both in geo- and in demo-. So we created Laski, along with a whole world that she lived in.

Within days of going live, our posts were the top-performing assets they’d ever had. Suddenly, Laski had fans, and people were looking at Alaska Airlines in a brand new way.

Unfortunately, this attention also caught the eye of Alaska’s pilot union. They were in the midst of pilot strikes. The union took to Laski as a symbol that the leadership wasn’t taking their demands seriously.

Worth noting, the luggage tag I used as the thumb I found at random while searching the web. Someone created an Etsy store selling them.
